How do I list a job

You may list a job free of charge by visiting the "Add a Job" page. You'll need to provide the addresses, preferred date and time and detailed overview of your needs. You'll also be given the opportunity to add some images and specific the bid cut off date.

Follow the quick steps below and you'll have your job listed in no time:

  1. Head over to the jobs list page.
  2. Click Post a Job and sign in if prompted.
  3. Enter your pick up address and destination addresses. Our inputs are powered by Google so you will notice a familiar pop up auto-complete feature as you type. Click the appropriate address when it is suggested. You'll also see thwe map update with the route we suggest a MoveChamp partner take when helping you out on the big day. Do note, for your privacy, MoveChamp will generalize this address to the closest suburb when publicly displayed and only provide the accurate details to the MoveChamp partner once payment has been made. E.g. If you're move is "from 121 Acme Street, Klepton, Cape Town to 97 Blues Avenue, Ronstand, Cape Town", we will publicly display this move as "from Klepton, Cape Town to Ronstand, Cape Town."
  4. We'll need your preferred date and time of the move.
  5. Now choose a date that you'll want bidding on this job to stop. MoveChamp partners will have up until this date to give you an estimate. Ensure this date is before your preferred move date.
  6. Next choose an option for the highest floor level as well as furthest access to the road.
  7. Give yourself some time to provide a good amount of detail about your requirements. MoveChamp partners will use this space to gauge how difficult or straight forward your move will be. Too little detail might result in MoveChamp partners overestimating your move in order to ensure they have breathing room for unknowns.
  8. Now you'll be able to provide some images. Be sure to keep anything too personally identifiable out of frame since job listings are public. Feel free to take photos of aspects you think will be challenging, including access to the property, stairs, oddly shaped furniture, etc.
  9. Save your job by clicking Post Job.
  10. Once saved you'll be taken to your profile to view your newly created job. Clicking the card will take you to a view screen where you can view the summary, edit the job, delete the job and view bids.
